December solstice

"Shall we liken Christmas to the web in a loom?  There are many weavers, who work into the pattern the experience of their lives. When one generation goes, another comes to take up the weft where it has been dropped. The pattern changes as the mind changes, yet never begins quite anew.

At first, we are not sure that we discern the pattern, but at last we see that, unknown to the weavers themselves, something has taken shape before our eyes, and that they have made something very beautiful, something which compels our understanding."
-   Earl W. Count, 4,000 Years of Christmas

Surrealist

 Perhaps my life is nothing more than an image of this kind;

perhaps I am doomed to retrace my steps under the illusion that  I am exploring,

doomed to try and learn what I simply should recognize,

learning a mere fraction of what I have forgotten. - André Breton

(André Breton was a French writer, poet, and surrealist theorist. He is best known as the principal founder of Surrealism. In the Surrealist Manifesto  of 1924, he defined surrealism as "pure psychic automatism")

Requiem Dreamed

Yesterday, they brought you home from the land of the saints. Your friends gathered by the lake to celebrate your life. Your brother raised his hands to the wind and returned  you to the wild hills of our remorseless youth.  Fate robbed you of your memories, then death showed you mercy. There is an empty space now in that place in the world that was you.

I wore this outfit  to honor my mother's passing. I wore it again today to honor yours. Godspeed Emerson. You were ours for only a little while. You ride with the angels now.

Bayou Nights

This outfit was inspired by my sl home, New Toulouse Bayou, where I have been a resident since I first joined Second Life. The outfit is a little boho, and a little chill, like me, and its perfect for sultry summer evenings. I found most of the pieces, including the Miss Chelsea distressed denim bustier dress, which comes with the leather plaited belt, at sl fashion events. This dress is very well crafted with a beautiful fit and detailing.
One of my favorite passtimes is checking out the great special events our virtual world has to offer. My other favorite passitmes are  decorating my home and property, exploring and discovering unique and well built sims, and creating and styling new looks. So this outfit is inspired my life here in sl.

Nonsense is a materials-enabled long dress with a lovely bare back. It comes with a flower headpiece. This mesh ensemble is beautifully crafted and detailed.   Both the dress and headpiece are textured with Trinity's original digital artwork: "Nonsense."  The artwork was inspired by the film Arizona Dream by Emir Kusturica,  and will be part of Trinity's next exhibition. This incredible artwork can be viewed here.

Nonsense is the perfect dress to wear this summer after a long day at the beach, when your skin is full of sun and the evening promises to be still warm. Fizz! Petit Chat Fine French Couture

Today I present to you Trinity Yaiomoto's Fizz! Dress. This dress is from Trinity's Regular Line's spring/summer 2015 collection and features unique textures created by Trinity herself. It is fun and fizzy like champagne! As with all Trinity's creations, this is a very well crafted and wearable piece of art.

Petit Chat's Regular Line is a  lovely casual line focusing on femininity. This line features Trinity's high quality textures. Trinity brings you a well-crafted fashion line with touches of originality that is easy to wear every day.

Fizz! comes in 5 standard sizes (XXS, XS, S, M, L), and there are 3 versions available : sand, cherry and aqua. I am wearing the cherry version. Fizz! is materials enabled, which gives its fabric a subtle contrast with a peach skin velvet effect, making the dress very soft to the touch.

Originally released as a Sneak Peek May exclusive, it will be available again for the June round. This cute, bodycon dress softly hugs your curves and shows off your shape nicely. It has a plunging neckline and a deeply low-cut back that is accented by crossed straps that compliment the strappy epaulets that adorn the shoulders. Cheers!
