Silent Secret - Petit Chat ArtFashion for Penumbra A/W 2014

Silent Secret is a long elegant dress that comes with  a matching umbrella,  both textured with Trinity Yazimoto's digital artwork: Silent Secret.  The original digital artwork is part of her current exhibition at her Petit Chat Gallery.

The dress has a dropped back. The umbrella  comes in 2 versions: one with a script and a pose that will override your AO and another version  that is unscripted.

Petit Chat ArtFashion is Trinity's  specialized product line in which she incorporates her digital artworks into her fashion designs. Every piece of digital artwork is reworked  to be used as the fabric texture on her fashion products. Every item is materials enabled to bring you a unique look.  All items are created with a lot of care to give you the best of Trinity's  skills as an artist and as a fashion designer, as well as her very personal view and feelings at the moment she created them.

What do I have in mind? Petit Chat for Penumbra AW 2014

What do i have in mind? is a  materials enabled mesh dress by artist and fashion designer Trinity Yazimoto of Petit Chat ArtFashion. Trinity textured this dress with her digital artwork of the same name. This work is part of Trinity's 'Wandering alone' exhibition.

The lower skirt, collar and cuffs have a leather like look while the rest is wool. Trinity has put a lot of care into the texturing and the artwork has been reworked to match perfectly with the lines of the dress.

Petit Chat ArtFashion is a specialized product line for which Trinity uses digital artworks for fashion design textures. Every piece of digital artworks are carefully reworked in order to be used as fabric on the  fashion designs.

Founded in 2007, Artizana Ethnic Couture, brings ethnic-inspired creations to Second Life. At Artizana you will find an excellent selection of quality Ethnic-inspired fashions, jewelry, footwear, accessories, and home decor items for both women and men. These detail oriented creations are lovingly crafted by Dainie Fraina in the spirit of culture, tradition, and authenticity.

This mesh skirt and blouse is called Belili, and it comes in many wonderful prints and colors. I am wearing Belili in Serendipity.  This lovely ensemble is currently available at Designer's Showcase in a variety of colors. Otium in sl is a very beautiful seaside retreat with a lovely European style village that sits atop its big island's highest landform. In the village, you will discover Syra Hyun's Blogger Photography Exhibition, which consists of some of the best sl blogger artworks displayed on easels placed amongst the village's stone structures. Syra tells me that exhibit is scheduled to run through the month of July. 

Grab a beach towel, swimsuit and a swim hud and enjoy this lovely place.

Boho Lakshmi

This beautiful skirt and top, named Lakshmi after the Hindu Goddess of wealth and prosperity, is the creation of Dainie Fraina of Artizana. It was given to the Color of Couture 2014 finalists for one of our styling challenges. Thank you Dainie for the opportunity to style this lovely outfit.
I chose a Boho-fusion style using iconography associated with Lakshmi in the styling and accessories for this outfit. I selected the version of the outfit with the most red in it and used gold jewelry with red stones because red and gold are Lakshmi's colors. I found a necklace and earrings made with gold coins to represent Lakshmi's gold coins of prosperity. Another necklace with an owl motif represents  Lakshmi's vahana. The journey bag is embellished with lotus flowers. The hairstyle suggests a long, loose cut wrapped up in a red scarf. The shoes are the barest suggestion of footwear, leaving most of the foot bare, yet offering just enough "shoe" to be able to make my way past  "no shoes no service" signs. In this outfit I am ready for free-spirited summer travel and adventure on the global festival circuit.
